Methodological Innovation (WP1)

Summary

section added: Sept. 18, 2021

The main goal is to create a piece of open source software that integrates eye-movement, human-computer interaction, and think-aloud data (D4). We start out by mapping data types and possibilities for integration (M1, D1-2), then develop the theoretical framework for the methodological innovation (D3).

Data Models

section added: June 21, 2022

I am adding links to the data model write-ups I have begun; they are drafts and are totally incomplete. Briefly, the Epistemic Network Analysis (ENA) data model is needed to implement one analysis we are planning: a novel way to operationalize information scent, which will offer an alternative to how it is presently operationalized in the SNIF-ACT Data Model. The Reproducible Open Coding Kit (ROCK) standard and data model will be used to implement another type of analysis and will be tied back into some aspects of SNIF-ACT.

Below, I'll elaborate a bit about how I see analysis and corresponding tool development.
